How do I invite candidates to take a video interview?

You can invite candidates to complete a one-way video interview on Haloed in two ways: by sending a personal invitationor sharing a public link. Here’s how each option works:

Option 1: Send personal invitations

Use this when you have a specific list of candidates you want to invite directly via email.

1. Go to your Company page.
2. Under the Jobs tab, tap the Options button on the relevant job post. 
3. Select Invite candidates to interview.
4. Under the Personal link tab, choose to either:
   1. Add candidate emails manually, or
   1. Import candidates from a CSV file.
5. (Optional) Tap Edit email templates to customize the message sent to candidates.
6. Tap Send invitations. Each candidate will receive a unique interview link via email.

Add candidates emails:

1. Paste emails into the field using either a comma-separated list or table format.
2. Tap Add emails.
3. Review the email list.
4. You can repeat the process to add more candidates before sending.

OR

Import from a CSV file:

1. Tap Import CSV.
2. Make sure your CSV file has exactly three column headers: First name, Last name, Email.
   1. You can download a sample CSV template directly from the upload screen.
3. Note: Reimporting a CSV file will replace the previously imported candidate list.
4. Review the imported candidate list before proceeding.

Option 2: Share a public link

Use this option if you’d like to invite many candidates by posting the link on platforms like job boards, social media, or your company’s career page.

1. Go to your Company page.
2. Under the Jobs tab, tap the Options button of the relevant job post. 
3. Select Invite candidates to interview.
4. Switch to the Public link tab.
5. Tap Copy link .
6. Share the link anywhere, e.g. email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or your own job ad.
